Overcoming Project Delays with Open Source - Business Intelligence as a case study

Many projects, either seen as essential "must haves" or "no-brainers", suffer project delays or indecision for aprroval. Common reasons for this are an inability to link to key corporate objectives, complexity of return on investment calculations, difficulty in the end beneficiaries (or users of an IT system) to assist in the definition and requirements phase and problems for stakeholders to "visualise" the end deliverable. License Free open source software can help overcome some of these issues. This presentation will use an approach for a Business Intelligence project as a case study.
